Fun Online Games Farmville Tips - How to Get Started in Farmville

Farmville is a great online game played by millions of folks on social sites like Facebook. The game is very addictive and you can get very involved in making decisions like what crops to grow, what buildings to construct and how to decorate them, and what kinds of livestock and animals to raise on your farm. There are a lot of decisions and options for you even early on in the game so it can be a bit overwhelming to figure out where to begin. So where to begin?

Be Conservative
When you first get started, your goal is to plant your crops and harvest as much as possible. You need to plow your fields and make as much land available for crops as you can in the early phases of the game. However be careful with your timing so you don't spend all your money to clear the land and then not have anything to purchase seeds with.

You should expand rather slowly with your land so you can maximize their planting potential. Once you make a harvest, then replant this plot of land first. In this way you will have a good idea how much new land you can afford to clear for planting the next time. If you stick to this plan, you can expand rather quickly and still be certain you have enough money for essentials like seeds, etc.

Time Your Harvesting
The worst thing you can do is to plant everything at once and then find you can't harvest it quickly enough when the crops are ready. This is very bad as the crops will otherwise wither and die. Since different crops mature at different times, plan accordingly so you can stagger the harvesting and get everything done on time.

Basically you want to plan your harvesting around your online schedule. If you get on the game every day, you can plant faster growing crops. However if you are limited to once or twice a week then be certain you plant crops which mature more slowly. Otherwise you'll find dead and withered crops on your field the next time you log in.
